Tribal Resilience Action Database
Guided by National Tribal Advisory Group and working in partnership with the Upper Snake River Tribes Foundation, Adaptation International is supporting the continued growth of the Tribal Resilience Action Database (TRAD), a powerful resource created to support Indigenous communities in their efforts to respond to and prepare for climate change. This expansion will enhance the functionality of the web portal, incorporate new resilience actions, and broaden outreach to Tribes and Indigenous communities throughout the country.
ASAP Private Sector Academy
The Private Sector Academy was designed for private engineering, sustainability, and climate firms in regions across the US looking to integrate climate data and information into their products and services. In partnership with the American Society of Adaptation Professionals (ASAP), a variety of workshops were designed to help firms from multiple sectors build insight into climate change and learn how to use high quality, publicly available climate data resources. These insights are intended to help firms learn about climate variables that affect their work and thus provide a more comprehensive service, answer more client questions, and stay ahead as the climate change affects the marketplace.
National Climate Assessment
The National Climate Assessment is the most rigorous peer-reviewed national assessment of the impacts, risks, and responses of a changing climate on our country. It is designed to provide state, local, Tribal, and Territorial governments, non-profit and community-based organizations, businesses, agencies, and communities with the best available science so that they can use that information to reduce risk and prepare for the future. Every step in the development of the assessment is meticulously and transparently documented, peer-reviewed, revised, and edited. We are proud to have participated in the last four assessments.
