Resilience Rock-Stars

We are always looking for talented, mission-driven people who want to contribute to climate resilience work — even when we don't have a formal opening that fits. If you are an independent contractor, passionate professionals, or specialist with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas, we want to hear from you. We work with Tribal nations, municipalities, and community organizations across the country. People with direct experience in those contexts — especially Indigenous communities — are especially encouraged to reach out.

Community engagement and facilitation — experience designing and leading workshops, focus groups, or participatory processes with diverse communities

Climate science and planning — technical knowledge in climate adaptation, hazard mitigation, vulnerability assessment, or resilience planning

Data science and programming — Data visualization, GIS, application development, or ethical Artificial Intelligence applications in community contexts

Communications and design — science translation, infographics, web content, or public-facing materials that make complex ideas accessible

To express interest, send a resume and a brief letter telling us who you are, what you do best, and what draws you to this work to sascha@adaptationinternational.com. There's no deadline — we keep a file of strong people and reach out when the right project fit emerges.
